Description

This is a delightful wine with all the zing of summer and spritz! Made from the same fruit as the Dry Rose, yet in a refreshing Sparkling style and retaining the dry and crisp finish.

This 2008 Sparkling Rose is our first release and we are very proud of it! Made in the similar style to our Dry Rose using principally Italian grape varieties in a savoury easy drinking style.

Made from a blend of three varieties, with Barbera and Sangiovese being the dominant varieties with a smaller amount of Shiraz to round out the wine. Presenting as a rich wine, the soft strawberry flavours of the Sangiovese blend well with the firm black cherry flavours of Barbera. The Shiraz adds touches of plum and spice and gives extra weight to the wine, making for a richly flavoured wine, very savoury on the palate but bone dry for freshness.

This wine is made for early drinking and is an excellent summer wine to accompany a range of foods or just on its own to celebrate any occasion.
