Parents or guardians assist the teacher in the water in a group class with never more than 8 infants and their carers. The aim of the class is to provide the infant with their first aquatic experience in a fun, safe and relaxing environment.
The bond between parent and infant is strengthened from a learning, class environment as our teacher's will introduce you to activities that you can practice outside of our pool. By firstly gaining the infant's trust in the water, the parent can help the infant become relaxed and ready to move onto the fundamental body movements such as kicking and arm movements.
The goal of this class is to encourage the infant to be comfortable with submersion and to allow the infant to progress to future levels without parent participation. We invite infants of 6 months and onwards into the Mummy and Me class.
